Had played the way they did against La Tech all year. Nice performance all the way around by the team and they did not cave in when the game went into OT. Mikel Byers a terrific game. Go Herd and finish strong.

And with a "small" lineup. Iran two quick fouls and a non factor in the game and the 7 footer was not dressed. Lots and lots of effort from all.
Actually think the key to our winning this game was keeping IB off the court. Isn't it ironic that we see folks we expected to depend on this season doing well when we go away from the inside game we force when IB is on the court, to the outside game we recruited these kids to play in? Forcing the ball inside all the time slows game down, and makes those built to catch and shoot, catch, think, pass maybe, maybe not, shot maybe, maybe not....... Last night we had a flow again, which was great in results and fun to watch.
If they can effectively change the style of play and be successful it would make them a dangerous team every game.
if Iran is playing well and getting easy buckets why not ride that? If he isn’t and the offense struggles, go with the smaller lineup. But they have to be able to shoot consistently for that to work.
Obviously this is easier said than done. Maybe next year.
