When are we going to be told the kickoff time? Making it difficult to make post-Thanksgiving plans. This is ridiculous.
Yep. They will announce actual time on Sunday.7 or 8 pm is what the HD said earlier this week.
Long range says temps in the mid 30's, game will last 4 hours. No thanks I'll give mine away.
You weren't going to be there if it was 70 degrees and a Victoria secret model waved a fan over you the whole game. Got to love Herd "fans" LOL.

A losing season is one thing, but a clusterfxck like this? Totally different. Most of them didn't even appear to careSad day for our seniors but when you play on a losing team it's hard to expect more other than parents and significant others. Thank you seniors for playing your college football at Marshall University.
Amazing all the confusion over what time the game will begin , not like it has anything to do with a game that is dependent on the time a national network would choose or that it has national implications , it doesn't even have county implications.
You would be wrong. College athletes do not go through the daily grind and effort of being a college athlete and then not want to play in the games. The games are the rewards for all the hard work they put in to prepare for the games.Begins to make one wonder just how many of the "injuries" are injuries or I just do not want to put forth the effort and play injuries. Team loses this many games and people suddenly become '"injured" , just saying.

What you and MARSHALL77 are discussing, pdbailey, makes one wonder if there is a more plausible, and possibly, serious issue behind our injury record this season. That is: the status of our "strength and conditioning" program under a new coach that Doc brought in this season. Aside from a rather inordinate amount of injuries this season, our team has, almost without exception, seemed to been "out muscled" and "out quicked" at almost all positions in the games I have seen. Often, to be frank, both our interior lines have been manhandled by their opposing counterparts. If a thorough review of our football program is in order based on this season's disastrous performance and results, I hope Doc or Hamrick, or both, look at the status of our conditioning program!!
Maybe....just maybe its because we don't have the athletes/talent that we've been assured have been signed.
Amazing. I've read more complaints about our strength and conditioning coach here than I can count. Every team has injuries to key players throughout a season. Unfortunately our "key" players that haven't been kicked off just don't appear as talented as the other teams. Strength and conditioning cant cover up the dumpster fire this program has turned into.
Yeah, well, when many of those injuries have happened to upperclassmen, such as 2 senior linemen, who played for 2-3 years under another conditioning program/coach, and then are injured under a new conditioning regimen, then the possibility is there that the SC program may be a factor, whether or not you like it!!
The thing is that Day has been using many of the S&C principles he learned while working for the Bengals and it just doesn't seem like that should lead to injuries. I do believe we seem a little slower and stiffer this year but that could be younger players adjusting to carrying weight and thinking instead of playing. One factor to look at is that a bunch of players put on weight for this year so maybe they haven't adjusted to the extra weight as expected. Training programs can be adjusted to correct deficiencies so I wouldn't get rid of Day just yet unless there is something else going on behind the scenes, and from what I understand, the players really like the programs he has put together for them. A lot of our injuries are thud and twist injuries so it could just be bad luck with the injuries this year and not conditioning.Yeah, well, when many of those injuries have happened to upperclassmen, such as 2 senior linemen, who played for 2-3 years under another conditioning program/coach, and then are injured under a new conditioning regimen, then the possibility is there that the SC program may be a factor, whether or not you like it!!
