WKU is just better than us this year

We can bag on the coaches, players, refs, fans, whoever - the bottom line is Western just has a better team.

We got gut-stomped by a team that is better mentally and physically. That being said, I look forward to seeing them in Huntington next year. They are a pretty classless bunch and getting revenge will be nice.

Couldn't agree more. They should have won today and they did. Payback is next year when we should have the talent advantage.

If WVU played WKU I don't think I would be happy unless it was a scoreless tie.

With half their team and coaching staff gone...and Doughty's career ending in Cleveland next season, I hope we run the score on them and punish their AD for ever allowing them to carry on their disrespectful antics.

We were a good team at home but we struggled on the road.

Losses at Ohio, MTSU, and WKU. Pulled one off late at Kent State and lucky to get out of there with a W.

Chase Litton will improve and this will be a much better football team next year.

Let's go win a bowl game and finish the season with 10 wins!

They had a 6th year QB, our QB is just breaking out his first pubes. No comparison guys.

Proud of this team, they fought hard all year and even today gathered themselves.

Future is bright folks, going to be a fun next 3 to 5 years if we can hold onto Holliday and company.

No doubt and good post. I thought we may catch them off guard and hang in there, but nope. They're a D@mn good ball club. Almost beat Indiana on the road (a team that gave brutus all they wanted). They also looked poised and expected to win in Baton Rouge. They are a much better team than this young herd team. I, however, feel really good about next year and believe we will be the team to beat in CUSA and are poised to win the crown and compete for an access slot.

I'm sorry I love the Herd, and I'm a fan of Coach Holiday and I hope he retires here but there is no excuse for Marshall to get their heads handed to them by a conference mate. I can handle WKU beating us. They have some very good players and a terrific college quarterback, plus it was at their place. But Marshall shouldn't be getting smoked by anybody in CUSA.

yep, it's a bummer, but it's what i predicted. our offense isn't built to score fast and theirs is. bad combo right there. this will NOT happen at the JOAN next year. Daughty and all their talent is gone and ours is here and older, bigger, faster and stronger, the tables will turn.
