Yet another thing that drives me nuts about college football... If you are going to allow open transfers at any time, for any reason, via the portal, then guys should not be allowed to transfer within the same conference.
You want to leave Georgia, cool, there are plenty of places that will take you outside of the SEC.

Considering any NCAA athlete will tell you not only of how corrupt and greedy the NCAA actually is, but just how limited athletes were with their lives, they're sticking it to the programs.
I am sure there will eventually be some regulation, the athletes won't unionize and make their own demands to fight back against the NCAA, and some relative normalcy will return.
Until then, if GA loses a WR to Bama, maybe GA needs to pay more.
Not even the pro athletes have the flexibility to move around like college athletes do. Maybe college athletes need to sign contracts and have consequences for breaking said contracts.
