Just like the New England Patriots, we now know that wvu cheats.

Unlike the New England Patriots (and most other schools that cheat), they still don't win.

I guess we know now why the weasel known as Ollie Luck crawled out of Morganhole in the dark of night about a month ago! Oh, well, this is just the latest embarrassment to the state by the so-called "Flagsh*t" institution. Remember Heathergate? How much do any of you want to bet that this will be glossed over very quickly by the State newspaper, the "Gagzette", and other pro WVU media like WV Media and its main owner, Bray(ing jackass) Cary??

Not sure i would point fingers quite so fast.....most college teams may be hit by this rule. WVU just self reported first. This is a very lame rule that most all college teams have most likely violated unintentionally....including Marshall. This is a rule that needs cleared up by the NCAA soon.

It happens with a lot of programs. I'm not the biggest WVU fan by a large margin, but it happens. Just because WVU will get a slap on the wrist with something doesn't mean we have to make a big deal of it.

When the overseeing entity is so weak, the competition it oversees is hardly legitimate. The fact that WVU received probation for widespread disregard of NCAA rules immediately after coming off probation for widespread disregard of NCAA rules is proof of just how toothless and pointless the whole process is.

Even more laughable is the excuse - none of our employees knew what the rule was because a third party software package we bought didn't work. Are you serious? And the NCAA bought it? Bonus points to the first program to blame LinkedIn.

And before the deluge of "this is a minor thing" inevitability washes over this thread - again, when you get popped for institution-wide disregard for NCAA rules and regulations, what you're getting busted for is probably more tip than iceberg. They've been dabbling in this stuff for decades, just ask Dan Dakitch

The thing is wvu can't afford to have any sort of probation on themselves...for anything at all. They need all the help they can get in the Big 12 and even the reduction of 1 scholarship is going to impact them somehow.

So yeah, this could be a bit of an issue, especially now they can't be as dirty in recruiting as they're accustomed to being for a while.

The IT is how Eerbillys see their program, and the probation for 2 years is how the rest of the USA sees their program.

We at Marshall and the rest of America see drunks for coaches, and a drunk for an ADs that is self serving. An AD that instilled do and say whatever you want: "I am Ollie an attorney that will take on anyone (and make money and self promote me whist doing it ) so we at WVU show the rest of NCAA schools we operate without rules"

Yes WV Celt every other school HASNT been busted in these allegations. Yet you have.
