You know what makes me mad?

Using different formats and programs for state paperwork filings. I don't know how many hours I have wasted in the past month trying to reformat things across different formats so I could submit stuff to the state, but it has to be at least a couple of days.

This is what happens when every single project is put up for bid and different IT companies win the bid. This is one area I wish government would just pick the winner and the losers and tough for the losers for another ten years.

I know others with a more focused job don't have to deal with this. They get one website, one format. Not me. I have three to five different agencies and divisions to deal with, and none of this crap works together.

Government agencies are decades behind the times. Federal, state and local government employees are working with 60's--70's IT infrastructures.

Thousands of disparate legacy hardware systems need replaced and installed with newest software available. Plus purged the dead-weight just sitting waiting for their pension payouts.

Government at it finest.

I work for a local non-profit organization that serves people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and am coordinator/case manager for our work services.

IU has went from last in the conference in defensive efficiency to first. Miller is getting his system in place quicker than I thought, actually.

Be sure to include a cover sheet with your TPS form. That’d be great.
