Opening conference series for both MU & 5 time defending champ ULL at the Dot. In game 1 of 3 the Herd scores 2 in the bottom of the sixth to surprise the Cajuns 6-5. Herd ace Bub Ferenga throws 143 pitches in a complete game performance. Cajuns take the nightcap 7-1. ULL has a NCAA best 89 series winning streak on the line when the 2 teams square off in the rubber match at 4:00 this afternoon. Break the streak!!

Big series this weekend hosting Texas State. If we can win that one, we travel to Boone the next weekend, where we should be favored. But first we have Pitt tomorrow at the Dot.

Pitt game cancelled due to adverse weather forecast in Huntington. MU baseball game still on in Morgantown Tuesday unless the weather forecast worsens for North Central WV by Tuesday afternoon.
