That shouldn't be a problem since none of us live in that criminal cesspool called Colorado Springs.
You guys always blow that so out of proportion. I was born and raised in Parkersburg, WV. Population, less than 35,000. I moved to Colorado Springs and as you likely know, HUGE difference. I loved it. So much to do, seemingly endless amounts. At the time, the fastest growing city in the country.
Run my own business. It was awesome.
My wife, at the time, got pregnant. The city had grown in population, to over 500,000 people. That doesn't seem much, unless you've lived in Parkersburg, WV all of your life.
We were already missing our home state and our familes, 1,300 miles away. We had no family in Colorado. Crime is WAY worse there, than home in West Virginia.
We sat out on the deck of our condo every night. Lots of nights we hear gun fire. A girl got shot in the face at a stoplight because she wouldn't look at guys whistling at her. A guy was shot and killed because the shooter said he was tailgating him....etc...etc.
We don't get that here and we decided we wanted to raise our son back home, where it is safer and close to family and friends. End of story.
You guys act like I said it was the murder capital of the country. 😂 Whatever.
I'd love to live there again, but it's just not home. Plus I make very good money in a state where the cost of living is pretty low. You know. Happy?
You can keep your streets paved in shit.
I'm perfectly content.
