You left out Matt Daniel, who was in-between Chadwick and Kemper. Kemper was on Daniel's staff.……here’s a thought: hire a woman to coach the women’s bball team! Our last 2 hires: Chadwick & Kemper, both had losing records while at MU.
I’ll be surprised if CS goes with another guy. These days, of course, that could mean a man identifying as female, a non binary person or any number of permutations! Oh brother….
I saw someone on Twitter suggest Grenville State’s coach. Won a d2 national title last year and I think think I read that they were 29-2 this year.
Watch out Jartard. Big Jim MIGHT be on this site. Wheels in motion, perhaps, already in his head, trying to line up government flights from DC, if he indeed runs for the US Senate, and wins, then how can he get flights to Lewisburg, WV, in time to Coach the Greenbrier East girls team, followed by a short flight, or little longer trip via a Government limousine, with police escort, in time to Coach the HERD Ladies in action at the CAM!!Wonder if Huff’s wife winds up in the mix? Maybe the Governor is ready to give college ball a try?
We could use one of the tarps from the Cam to make him the traditional welcoming blazer.Just remember, ole Jim's ego is far, far bigger than his pants' waist size!!!
We haven't been relevant in women's basketball ever. And we aren't putting in big bucks to change that. Hire her and see what she can do. Less cost in the long term.Glenville State is currently in the second round n women's basketball in D2. Irrelevant. The talent gap between DI and D2 in a sport like women's basketball is huge. Its a bunch of future HS teachers of West Virginia and a few ringers from those AAU and "religious" schools. Its not a level that translates here.
Absolutely! We cannot do worse …..We haven't been relevant in women's basketball ever. And we aren't putting in big bucks to change that. Hire her and see what she can do. Less cost in the long term.

The governor would make Kim Mulkey look like Ron Jirsa.
You mean make a token effort? We haven't been relevant in women's basketball ever. And we aren't putting in big bucks to change that. Hire her and see what she can do. Less cost in the long term.
Yeah, it is a token effort. Why spend more money to make it anything more? The program has never been competitive on a consistent basis. You mean make a token effort?
Reality is that if the best college male basketball player is a "100", then the 50th best is a "98" and the 1000th best is a "90" and the 10000th best is a "80". However, if the best college female basketball player is a "100", then the 50th best is a "50" and the 100th best is a "20" and the 1000th best is a "2'. The talent pool in women's basketball is just not deep. There actually are enough good women's basketball players for about 50 colleges to have a team. But Title IX, among the worst laws ever passed, makes every single college have a women's team, even though the talent is not there. That is why you see 40 and 50 point blowouts in conference games where you would never see that in any other sport.
By the time you get down to something like Glenville State, the men's team is going to be a little slower and a little lest practiced and dedicated, and simply less talented, which is why they are in D2. The women's team is some kids who are riding a bad law into a free education at a sport they fundamentally have no talent for.
You're not wrong.Yeah, it is a token effort. Why spend more money to make it anything more? The program has never been competitive on a consistent basis.
You read rightI saw someone on Twitter suggest Glenville State’s coach. Won a d2 national title last year and I think think I read that they were 29-2 this year.
Does not mean the lady can’t coach. What Marshall had as the women’s coach was not successful.Glenville State is currently in the second round n women's basketball in D2. Irrelevant. Free education on a D2 scholarship?By the time you get down to something like Glenville State, the men's team is going to be a little slower and a little lest practiced and dedicated, and simply less talented, which is why they are in D2. And Doc too!! That'll solve EVERYTHING!!!Fire Bill Legg!
Justice is running for Senate when his term is up.Wonder if Huff’s wife winds up in the mix? Maybe the Governor is ready to give college ball a try?
Yes, but politics is just his hobby. Basketball coaching is his job of preference.Justice is running for Senate when his term is up.
