Administration confirms two more payments to Iran, totaling $1.3 billion

The Obama administration made two additional cash payments totaling $1.3 billion, after delivering $400 million to Iran by plane in January, to resolve a failed arms deal, administration officials told lawmakers Tuesday.
Wonder how many of those 5,000 taliban that trump had freed from jail were responsible for Americans killed during the withdrawal.
They knew who it was that set the bomb off. Agencies with certain letters were tracking him and a special operations had him tailed. A Marine sniper team in the tower at Abbey and a US Army Phycological Operations team verified who it was but, the the Marine Sniper team was not granted permission to shoot after it was run up the chain. The State Dept had the final authority on rules of engagement and permission to shoot was not granted from civilian leadership.
What people need to realize is the airport there became property of the US State Dept and was essentially a big embassy. The State Dept controlled Afghanistan for the US govt. The military was there to assist in the evacuation. That being said, if we had high ranking officers with any sets of nads they would have to the civilian suits to F off and told the sniper team to wax him. The US govt had paid the Taliban to do security, imagine how that went.
