Boys up against too much defensive talent from the Cardinal. Great season! Wish it would’ve continued….
Stanford simply outplayed them. Came in with an excellent game plan to sit deep and defend the hell out of the final 3rd. They took advantage and converted nearly every chance they had. Also helped that they were more physical (this Herd team does NOT like playing physical opponents).
