. . . over the last few years, our school commercials are significantly better than they used to. It used to be embarrassing watching our videos compared to those of the school we were playing. The South Alabama ones look like our old ones.
I got into a good argument on here many years ago with [red on the head like a dick on the dog], when I mocked our ukulele commercial. He claimed that he knew what high school kids wanted to see since his son was in high school at the time. I argued that it was a horribly dorky and boring commercial that wouldn't excite kids to want to come to Marshall. Those type of commercials persisted for years, but they are much better now.
