I can live with the consecutive timeouts as I think "icing the kicker" is stupid at this point. A lot of the time you're giving the kicker free swings. The others are just dumb. If they really cared about the length of the game cut down the commercials and make the officials speed up the review process. The reviews and TV timeouts are what kill the game.
- Prohibit calling consecutive timeouts
- Eliminate playing an untimed down after a penalty at the end of the 1st and 3rd quarters
- Eliminate stopping the clock on first downs except in the final two minutes of the game
- The Clock will continue to run after incomplete passes once the ball has been spotted
