2 years ago I told y'all that there were two kids that go to my high school that Marshall should recruit and you guys told me to shut up. Those guys, a WR and a QB both have offers from numerous P5 schools. The WR is a 4-Star prospect with offers from ND, OSU, MIchigan, MSU, VT, Pitt, South Car, and UNC. The QB is a 3-Star drawing interest from Penn St, UNC, MSU, ND, and Pitt. So in hindsight maybe y'all should listen to me and realize that NE Indiana is becoming more of a high school football hot-bed. P.S. Our punter, who was one of the most valuable players on a very good team, is also from this area.

Whether a single person on this board starts to listen to you or not, will have absolutely zero bearing on these kids being recruited, or not recruited, by Marshall.

You know, people scoffed at me when I suggested recruiting a skinny kid from Miami-Dade by the name of Rakeem Cato, but fortunately a few of the smarter site admins saw my post and forwarded the information on to Doc. The rest is history.

I did mention that Publix had some of the highest quality crab legs available on the market, but I don't think anyone took notice.

I am personally responsible for convincing Cam Henderson to sign Jackie Hunt.
And it goes without saying what I taught him about the "fast break" and my idea of a "zone defense". Sadly, though, when they won the NAIB National Championship in basketball, I was in Florida for the Bowl Game watching the Herd lose a football game to Catawba 6-3.

oh yeah, and some of you may have heard of my (now-banned) "tower pass".

But, truly, my dad used to stand on the bank of the hole being dug for Fairfield Stadium and shoot the rats as they scampered out. Not sure of this, but I think he said it was the town dump before they built the stadium -- thus accounting for the resident rat population. Ah, those old-time memories.

So WhoDeyHerd90 is from Fort Wayne where he attended Bishop Luers. They sent a pretty good QB by the the name of James Knapke to BGSU where he played very well last season. They also sent a 5 star linebacker by the name of Jaylon Smith to Notre Dame a couple of years ago.

But Marshall does not do much recruiting here in the Hoosier State. Tyler Williams went to high school at Fort Wayne Snider but he was recruited out of the Atlanta Sports Academy.

now that it is confirmed who you are talking about, i can call you out for being full-of-shit.

noah doesnt have a single P5 offer, let alone "numerous" ones like you claim. how am i sure of this? well before you mentioned his school on here, when he was a freshman, i talked to him and gave him words of encouragement (which i still have proof of). i told him that if i had the authority at the time, i would have offered him then (i was at north texas). he was ecstatic in his response, very polite, and appreciative. i tried getting the north texas staff to offer him at the time which would have been his first offer. now, he has a few MAC offers, will surely get more, but doesnt have a single P5 offer, let alone "numerous."

you cant blame the Marshall staff for not recruiting this kid as a freshman in an area they hardly touch, especially considering he barely has any offers at it is now with just his senior year left to play.
