Nah, not a female, just some sexually repressed 20 year old who got bullied a lot in HS. This is his opportunity to act tough without repercussion. Take it easy on him, he'll never really know what it feels like to be a man.

Because of huge UL turn out. Thanks to the cards fans that showed up. Strength in numbers! Great job Cards fans making the trip and supporting your team!

Yea usually when attendance is announced it's the whole stadium counted and not just "home fans".

Silly goose, I'm not married. I spend far too much time knocking the tonsils out of your mom's throat to use it on any single ladies.
Wow mom passed away 10 years ago. I heard you hillbillies were strange but that one is beyond me. The bigger question is how did you get in the vault? I know Meth is a powerful drug but damn. Well stay out of the graveyard son and get back to that banjo. You never know when there will be a re-make of Deliverance and they need technical advice. Seems like it would be right up your alley.

Did the guy that lives in KY seriously accuse someone of being a hillbilly? How many of you guys want to bet that the demographics concerning banjos, meth and Mom's that enjoy getting their tonsils massaged by Herd fans, in Louisville, far out number those, on average, in Huntington?

Just curious- if the stadium holds 40,000, and there were clearly empty seats in every section on TV, how did Espn come up with that? I'd say we inflated the report- but every sporting event inflates that number so whatever

So you come on here running your mouth and then try to play the mom died card... get real

It's based on tickets sold. I'd say that after the Akron performance and once word got around that we'd be without Litton and a few other starters people decided to just watch the first 2 quarters from home instead of fighting the traffic to just leave at halftime.

Clearly empty seats in every section. LOL.

After walking around the stadium there were people standing in most walkways all around the stadium. The endzone was so filled police went through multiple times and cleared walkways. Those empty seats that were so obvious was probably why there were only 40,000 plus and not 41,000 plus.

Stadium capacity is 38K and change. It was full and looked fuller on TV to me. Great crowd.

Although WVU always reports 65K but yet many upper sections are empty. Most schools report tix sold, as does MU.

it looked and sounded FANTASTIC on TV. Seeing that atmosphere really makes you wish we were in a legit conference playing legit teams on a weekly basis. Out of our control I know... but the thought of being in a truly regional conference with teams like UofL, Pitt, WVU, ect... Pipe dreams...

Agree Andy. We have untapped fan support if we had better programs to play on a weekly basis. We've proven that with every P5 program that has visited us thus far. Even VT drew 34K on a suck year for us (should have sold it out though).

Not that it matters but there were plenty of empty seats. Watch it again if you don't believe me. And I'm sure WVU does it, like any sports team. Although I'm not sure what WVU had to do with Marshall.

I personally didn't notice any empty seats.... Until halftime that is... I think the number reported was close to the actual nmbr in the stands....there will always be some empty seats bc people are going to from their seats to the concession stands.... Either way it looked and sounded great!

I have no idea what you are talking about......I was there, it was packed. Yes, there were a few empty seats. There always are in almost any sellout.

I then came home and re-watched some of it on TV, it looked great!!

And as far as U of L fans......All that I encountered were very nice and appeared to be having a great time but I honestly thought there would have been more. Good turnout , not anything special.

I am just glad our own fans stepped up and didn't allow open seats to be had like they did during the WVU games. I think that limited UL fan turnout more than anything. jmo

I agree it looked great. The point is there were empty seats so the attendance numbers were obviously false. And again- every team does that.

The Joan looked great in the stripes. Love it
