1) Ty Tyler saw time at defensive end and defensive tackle both last night. Tyler had a terrific night finishing with a team-leading six QB pressures.
2) Redshirt-freshman OL Will Ulmer sported a #88 jersey in the 2nd half (maybe even the whole game). I imagine the coaching staff had to get that approved and we're considering a jumbo package with Ulmer as an eligible receiver.
3) For the first time in as long as I can remember, we utilized a "skill" player on the edge of our FG and XP formations. It's clear that Jackson White's presence at the holder has added options.
4) At one point last night, our secondary consisted of two sophomores, one red-shirt sophomore, and one red-shirt freshman. Consider that for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.
5) Marshall didn't substitute once on the offensive line. Coach Day did a terrific job this off-season preparing those guys.
