Glad we took a chance on developing him so he could cash in elsewhere while scoring 2pts a game.
I don’t blame him for operating in the system. But the system is broke.
He’s a 20/10 player here . Instead, he can get paid more to ride the pine in the SEC
To be fair to Micah, he started 32 games at UF in '23-'24 before suffering a horrific leg fracture. That fracture caused him to miss half of the '24-'25 season.
He doesn't ride the pine, try watching. He was an integral part of the rotation. He gave up a red shirt year to come back to join the team mid-season when it became apparent they had a chance to advance in the SEC and move into the tourney well prepared to compete and a solid chance to win the title. I hate it that he left, but don't put him down contributor-wise. He played well, but sure can't shoot foul shots.
He should have played more than condon last night.

I agree with foul shooting comment, I don't remember him being a bad free throw shooter here. The two he took in the championship game were bad.

It’s really amazing that FL was able to overcome that many turnovers and still pull it out. Also - 3 1/2 mins into the 2nd half, Cougars were already in the bonus, and had ZERO pf’s! Then the refs went whistle crazy and Houston ended up with more than the 🐊. Crazy game!
Interesting game. So much for run and gun basketball with every player throwing 3's up from all over the floor and not playing defense. I guess the old expression of defense wins championships is still true.
They were just following the Marshall script. Shoot threes, don't follow your shot, nobody underneath to rebound, fall back, and not play defense
Along that same line, Billy Donovan left Marshall and coached Florida to 2 natties.
Well, he was obviously rewarded by evidently realizing that MU basketball was going NOWHERE, fast OR slow, under Danny D, and certainly NOT anywhere near the National Championship Game. Danny’s concept of College Basketball today, and his idea on to help Micah to develop and grow his game would be to urge him to get outside the 3 point circle and to shoot MORE treys! And, perhaps, to have someone perhaps like Milan Milodinovich to help him improve his long range shooting!!
Along those same lines, he played in the SEC and is a National Champion, which is quite a bit more marketable for his long-term success in life than being a 20/10 guy on a mid-major in one of the absolute worst basketball conferences in the nation.🤷♀️
Once that green and white comes off and they go to another college team. I just do not care.
