All personal bias aside, you can't tell me this is the best our country has to offer.

Seriously. These six candidates are the best and brightest this country has to offer to run our country? Forget the party lines and really just look at what our choices are. A confessed socialist, a secretary of state that is surrounded by scandal, a boisterous billionaire, a governor who can't stop twitching on stage that no one pays attention to, and two first term senators that are barely fit to serve their current office.

I just cannot believe our country doesn't have better to offer.

You do know this country is a Democratic Socialist country already. We have a few who refuse to recognize that.

I just cannot believe our country doesn't have better to offer.

What would be an example of this mythical wonderful candidate that wouldn't be so terrible?

The ones we have are obviously better than all the rest of the real people, since none of them bothered to take the steps necessary to get where these candidates are today.

Honestly I like Paul Ryan and I felt he should have ran for president but the political party system in America is dead. I wouldn't be shocked if Bernie didn't run as an independent if he doesn't get the Democrats nomination

They are probably better than Obama and he won.

Bush won twice and he was the worst president ever and idiots like you voted for him twice

George W. Bush and the new crop this year are all easily better than Obama. Obama ordered the the raid to kill bin laden. That's about it. People are worse off today than January 19, 2009.

The worst president ever is what we've got. Even when Hillary wins, she will be better. And as bad as Bush was, he's still better than Gore or Kerry would have been.

I work in staffing, I don't have a problem placing people in for work out here. The problem with those people is I would say half are just nunhireable because of the lack of skills, education, or no desirability to work. The other half live somewhere that is economically depressed that there isnt work but at your local Gas Station or Supermarket.

Also if all the jobs that have been shipped over seas had stayed in America, that number would be ALOT less. Its embarrassing when I call Company support for where I work or where I have worked in the past and I have to waiting 10 mins for Sinkah Napnigffgfpiufiufg from India to answer the phone because companies have taken advantage of cheap laws and no business taxes in SE Asia, India, and Latin America.

Be sure and express this to your current company's leadership. I am sure they would value your opinion.

Had the Vice President of the Company at our Branch in yesterday, she agreed and said they are looking to bring back those company support jobs back to America. When I worked at previous other jobs, I expressed the same frustration to deaf ears.

You work for TrueBlue?

The 92 million people not in the labor force

The CBO says that roughly half of the three-percentage-point decline in labor-force participation since the end of 2007 is due to the aging of the workforce. The labor force participation has been declining since 2000.

Shhhh keep the facts to yourself

Whe I have ever said there wasn't an element of retiring factored into labor participation?

National debt is down

National GDP is up

Unemployment is at an all-time low

Automobile and the Housing market have recovered and is seeing great growth

And American buying power to back to Clinton Era levels.

And you say we are in a worst shape? You do know on January 29th 2009, this country was almost close to economic failure and everyone was losing their jobs.

Please don't let your ignorant redneck views cloud your judgement or are you one of those coal miners that is out of work

Companies moved factories overseas because American Labor became to expensive. With Labor Unions bargaining for more and more until the tipping point was reached where it became cheaper to pay the shipping cost etc to ship stuff over rather then making it here. Unions bargained themselves right into the soup line.

National Debt has risen 10 trillion under Obama. More than under Bush and we were even in two wars during is time.

See the ignorance

On one hand you claim 92 million Americans are out of work

On the other hand you stand up for the corporations who shipped jobs overseas for cheap labor and no business taxes.

Pick and choose. Either your on the side of Americans or on the side of the corporations who take advantage of the laws the Republicans put in place to protect their corporate brothers

I am far better off than I was on January 19, 2009. Better pay, better retirement package, better 401(k) matching, better chance for advancement, better perks and better insurance with lower deductibles/copay's.

That is because you are moving up the corporate ladder at a young upwardly mobile age. Does that really have anything to do with a President?

Now you're just being stupid. Worse than insane.

But if someone says they're worse off, you'd blame the president.

Well, there are a lot of undermployed and unemployed people out there. And, he has created a blockade to a vibrant work force in America. There are things such as Obamacare that are a disaster for employees and employers alike.

That being said, you can find work pretty much under any president. You can't go blaming a President for not doing something. Sometimes you have to get off your duff and go find something. But, we are now paying more people not to work. That is an issue.

I have prospered during every administration going back to Nixon. I really don't give a **** who is in power because I refuse to participate in the hand wringing and angst.
