Anti-Vaccers

Count me in. No way I am running the sweeper. She can hire a cleaning lady, but I am not doing that. You boys better draw a line in the sand or next thing you know you will be watching chick flicks instead of the ball games this weekend. Hell with that.

You've already stopped watching the NFL, so it appears you're well on your way to chick flicks.

Yehh, like there is nothing else on besides the NFL. I have watched less and less of the NFL probably for 5 years.

Are any of you morons anti-vaccers?
imagine how many VD's you could have avoided if there were vaccines for those.

last time i got a flu shot was around 8 years ago. got the flu that year after taking the first flu vaccine shot ever, and laid in bed with a puke pan, eyes closed, listening to the superbowl on tv. every time i'd attempt to open my eyes, the room would spin and i'd start vomiting. and, no, it wasn't the self induced flu.

haven't had a flu shot since and, other than self-induced, haven't had the flu since. my wife and kids get the flu shot every year. so far this year they've all had the flu once, my daughter twice. in the past, as indicated, they get it every year, and, every year they all seem to get the flu . . . and, every year, we hear the same thing, "well, this year's vaccine wasn't designed for this type of flue." i'm sure there's merit to that, but c'mon, man!

when they have it, i confine myself to the garage with a 12 pack and stay away from them.

Maybe we can get that band to play a little bit of The Archie's too.

??????????

Meme is pretty self explanatory.

I don't believe that your entire family gets the flu shot every year and every year they get the flu (sometimes multiple times a year).

I also don't believe the one year you got the flu shot was the only time you've ever gotten the flu.

I also don't believe in big foot, so don't feel bad.

oh, well, okay. believe what you will, i guess . . .

After seeing this, herdman now thinks that vaccinating your children is a bad thing.
I had read that before. There are a lot people who feel that way and there are more cases of Autism now. But, I think that is beause it is better diagnosed than back in my day. We had kids like that and you just said, you know Billy over there is just a little off in the head. Or he is slow or something is not right.

I had a kid with Asperger's on my ball team one time. He was freaky and I really enjoyed him being on the team. Little kid, would say now at that plat #32 John Doe, batting .318, last game he went 2 for 4. Knew all kinds of stuff. Then, you would say how are you doing today and he would look at you with the 1,000 yard stare. He would know the weirdest things and he would know the players and the numbers and coaches of the opposing teams. Five minutes later you could look over and he would be staring at the tree behind the dugout.

He couldn't field worth a shit, but he hit .265. All the other teams thought he was "slow in the head", but he would fool them and hit the ball. Couldn't pull the ball but he could punch it out in right field for a single. Several times the other team would draw the infield in and bap little slap single over the second baseman's head.

Last Train to Clarksville is one of the great accidental anti war songs of the 60’s. A Boyce and Hart classic.
Ins't it about troops leaving for FT Campbell KY and the last train is the one to Clarksville TN near Ft Campbell?

It kind of morphed into that narrative.
I have always thought of it in that context. Just liked Mickey Dolenz vocal.

Check out Wilson Pickett doing that song, makes a legitimate song out of it.
