Just wonder also about any second semester new enrollees. With semester already started, surely some knowledge of how many new players are in school and hopefully will be participating in spring ball. Don't see why athletic department wouldn't announce the new enrollees/players to the media. Sometimes, one gets the feeling that when it comes to MU sports, "no news is BAD news".
Chuck told some of us at basketball practice that he had the story. The strange thing about this is that his brother, who was grey shirted last year, arrived on campus and began classes Monday.
Interesting. I assumed Simino wouldn't be coming after hearing Howard chose to leave school.
That has to mean it had nothing to do with Speedy being unhappy with our coaching staff. All signs point to grades.

And Landon got the injury wrong. It was an ACL not his shoulder. Dude had a brace on his leg after he got hurt.
As a side note, this article reminds me of why I hate WVU so much. This state is so pathetic when it comes to its blind support of WVU. Turning a shoulder to players just because they didn't commit to WVU. So stupid.

Is it possible that Howard played Marshall...... to get his brother a football scholarship?

his brother isn't on scholarship. and if that was his plan, he's a moron because now he's going to have not played for 2 years (unless he transfers to fcs) before he every gets playing time in college.

Wasn't a hypothesis........ just a simple question. I'm assuming he medically redshirted this season, right? He could go to a juco for a year, and then arrive at another institution with 3 years of eligibility for FBS level. If the injury really was an ACL, then he's likely not ready for spring ball anyways, and a transfer-and-sit year would still make sense for the player.
Regardless, it's a tough break for MU Football. He was a big time "get" for your program.
I believe if you look at all the post season rankings, you will see that Marshall is rated above wvu! FACT! CBS just ranked them all from 1-128. Marshall was 39, wvu 45.
If you're happy with 7-8 wins a year and struggle mightily to beat a 6-6 team you were favored to beat in a bowl, then you must be pleased

Also remember Hollidays finds are usually never front page news, they are the Bee recruits that he's done tons of homework used his gut and speculation to find that hidden jewel.

Apparently Howard left because of knee injury -NOT any issues with staff. Lord, too many conspiracy theorists running around - guess they're Chucky followers.
Chucks brutal. Needs to be fired. Living out of state you have to subscribe to get the dog patch so I consider myself lucky I can never read his puke writing.

I've been following his Facebook feeds and I can't get a read on him and what happened. He will post videos from practice at Marshall and say he misses football and people will comment about wanting him back at Marshall and he will "like" it but no answers. He said something to the effect of sometimes you can't do what you want right now but doesn't mean you csn never do it. I assume he wants to play again but not sure when or where. I'm baffled.
