I’m visiting some family in Florida, and they have a TopGolf facility in Tampa.

It looks like it could be fun, but I wanted to see if anyone on the board has any experience.

I have been once. It is fun, probably not something I would do all the time. But, it is worth it to go. They different games you can play. All the clubs are there to rent(you can take your own if you want). Food is typical bar food style and quality. It is pretty impressive when you see it. I think we were a few stories up. It was fun and if you have a few extra hours it is probably worth it.

I read it takes about 17 million to build one and to get started. They are doing very well and some locations are paying for themselves in 12 to 18 months.

They have some competition coming. Drive Shack is starting up and I believe they are affiliated with Taylor Made Golf.
They have one in Orlando and one is getting ready to open soon in Raleigh, NC.

Just played one in Orlando. Had a great time. Good appetizers, nice selection of beverages and the games were fun. Our group had a blast.
The stock clubs they have aren't bad either.

Been to the one in Cincy a few times. I think it's a fun group activity with lots of drinking involved. Not something I would pay for to actually work on my game.

When we went I was afraid someone would drink too much and goo off the front of the ledge. They do have a net, but there were a few guys giving it the Happy Gilmore and I thought well here we go.
