Or… they are trying to save it. In two ways
1. Less injuries mean young parents will let their kids play instead of only letting them play soccer. I have been saying that on these boards for years
2. Two bad calls now should mean the NFL will step in and make that some type of a reviewable penalty like college does the targeting rule.
All this is good for football!!
It wasn’t roughing of any sort eitherNot saying it wasn’t a sack dude. Geez. Read what I said.

According to their retired ref in the booth he said due to the new rules (allegedly since Tua last week) using your full body weight is roughing. It wasn’t roughing of any sort either
Then you can’t tackle the ****er at all. Gives running QB’s a huge helpAccording to their retired ref in the booth he said due to the new rules (allegedly since Tua last week) using your full body weight is roughing.
According to the ref they call on during braodcasts he said this was happening because the NFL has decided to call it. They're over correcting from Tua.Or… they are trying to save it. In two ways

I was roughed up worse than that when I had my prostate exam.....Good Lord how is this roughing the passer? Because he used his entire body weight? That's ridiculous!
The pro bowl has folded Skills competitions starting this year. The NFL has already changed the pro bowl game to flag football. See a trend?
It's the people that have never played that want to dictate how the game is played. We see that in other aspects of things that go on in this world, but I cannot get into any of that. Follow my handle on Pullman Square for further insights.Did you ever play football?

My question here is... How do you tackle a player, QB or otherwise, without --According to their retired ref in the booth he said due to the new rules (allegedly since Tua last week) using your full body weight is roughing.
All of this...IMHO,
- The NFL got all woke about CTE or whatever it’s called and developed this “concussion protocol”.
- The Dolphins cheated in that protocol when Tua, who is a fragile athlete and probably will have a short career should have been taken out of the Baltimore game.
- Tua got a solid legal tackle in the Cincinnati game and it caused him to have a seizure.
- The NFL panicked and came up with a ridiculous rule that pretty much makes tackling the QB illegal now. Clear examples not only in the KC-LV game, but also in the Tampa game, with of course Brady getting the benefit of the bad call, as always.
Solution? Pretty simple, really. Football is dangerous. Don’t want to risk it? Don’t play. Pay for your own college, and then find a job afterward which will not involve fame, super-models and 7 figure paychecks. Doesn’t sound good to you? Want the benefits of football? Great. Put your helmet on and get your ass out on the field.
Just like the older crowds say we have to change the way kids learn because it’s just not good enough….. think about that for a minute…. Just sayinIt's the people that have never played that want to dictate how the game is played. We see that in other aspects of things that go on in this world, but I cannot get into any of that. Then don’t invest in a quarter billion players. They created their monster. The NFL’s QB rules are in place because the owner’s have a quarter of a billion dollars invested in these guys. They want them protected. I’m not a fan of it either, but I understand it.
But like Aaron said, a lot of these rules are in place to save the game. Not ruin it. If it makes it unwatchable for you, then go watch MMA. You’ll see some knockouts for sure.
Just in the NFL, 32 teams:
-Russell Wilson is supposedly getting shot up to play because of a partially torn lat.
-SF is on their backup QB because their started got his ankle ripped up.
-Dallas is on #2 because their QB broke his hand.
-Chargers’ QB gets shot up weekly to play because of a rib fracture
-Dolphins are going on QB #3.
-Patriots are going on QB #3.
-The Jets started the season with their backup because their QB started the season on IR
-Saints are on their backups because Jameis Winston has 4 fractures in his back
25% of NFL teams have QB injuries WITH all of these rules to protect QBs…and we’re only 1 month into the season. We’re going to be watching a game in Huntington tomorrow night with questions about our starter’s health and our opponent’s QB is out. These conversations about “flag football” are rather humorous.
That’s the market for the position. Then don’t invest in a quarter billion players. They created their monster.
Have you been on any social media? Kids today(most) are complete idiots that have to be told not to drink bleach, not eat Tide pods, or to cook chicken with Nyquil.Just like the older crowds say we have to change the way kids learn because it’s just not good enough….. think about that for a minute…. Yea that amazes me how stupid people are all for the gaining likes on some dumb social media site. I know each older generation says the younger generation is stupid, but actually is truer today than at any other time. Sadly it really isn't just relegated to the youth.Have you been on any social media? Kids today(most) are complete idiots that have to be told not to drink bleach, not eat Tide pods, or to cook chicken with Nuquil.
I'm not giving your post any thought whatsoever. I know when I'm being baited, and I promised to abide by the rules of the land laid out within the sticky thread. That's part of the game. But, there is no doubt the game is getting softer, especially in the NFL.The NFL’s QB rules are in place because the owner’s have a quarter of a billion dollars invested in these guys. They want them protected. I’m not a fan of it either, but I understand it.
