Anyone Who Thinks Winning the SBC

I was kind of hoping we would win a football championship this year in the Sun Belt, match what we accomplished in years in the C-USA, and not have to think about it ever again.

His hands were tied. Remember we had Appy as a non conference game. By the time we knew for sure we were going into the Sunbelt, there were not many options of teams to schedule. He should get a pass on this one.

There were other options, including moving the schedule around early on to accommodate. I would have rather played another road contest or played in Week 0.

Then you obviously have a list of the I-A teams that had a vacancy at that late hour.

I will give you a clue. There were none. Give the guy a break.

What other options did we have? Just because some of us found schools with an opening left doesn't mean it was an actual viable option. I don't think any AD is going to purposely ignore any FBS opportunities and schedule a second FCS game knowing that the game does not count and could potentially end up hurting your program.
