Dublin, Oh
Conservatives are full of crap. I have the Sunday ticket. Full stadiums, crowds were into it. Tons of players protested maybe a few smattering of boos and that was all.

The tv ratings may be slightly down but that's it. Conservatives whine and do nothing. Liberals actually do something about it when they feel something is wrong. Conservatives can't be bothered. It's funny even my biggest mouthed Facebook people haven't even commented today.

Should we follow your stunning example?

Mile High Stadium had 76,000+ in the stands. 401 no shows...or as Trump calls it, "a massive boycott".

anytime trump or any other republican politician for that matter tells you ANYTHING - you can assume the opposite is true.

trump tells so many lies his hogs won't even come when he calls them.
(think about it)

Yeah, as I said last week, the people who are "boycotting" think they're NFL fans. They watch one game every week (maybe--and only the second half if church runs a little late), they buy their NFL gear from Walmart, and probably couldn't even tell you who their team is playing or where the game is at prior to them sitting down and watching it. If they think they're hurting the NFL's pockets, they're kidding themselves.
When their son starts his football season next year and the wife goes out to buy some NFL player's cleats, they just gave the NFL more money than the Walmart gear gave them.

A lot of the ticket burners I seen were fans of teams like the Giants, Colts, etc. who are out of it and probably don't want to watch the crap product being put on the field anyway haha...and ain't nobody skipping out on good super bowl parties. Although, it's going to be fun to read back a lot of the Facebook posts to people I see at mine.

My family even buys toilet paper of the opposing teams. They are steeler fans and trust me super fans are agravating. Its not that important to me. Its so important to the rest of my family. They are like herd fans who wear green glasses

I gave up being a die hard fan of pro sports years ago. Something about rooting with all out passion for guys making tons of money who could be traded to a rival doesn't feel right.

Much more passionate about college. Been to a pro game and I have to be honest, it kind of bored me. The athletes were amazing, very fast, and large. But, i would much rather go to a college game. The pageantry and passion of college is much better.

Most of the whatever boycott is going on is not watching on tv(my guess). The NFL is built for tv. That is where they make their money.

I used to be there with you, but I'll be honest, college sports have become a bigger shit show than pro sports, IMO. Conference realignment, half of the rivalries no longer being played, conferences spread out all over the country, etc have really sucked a lot of the fun out of it for me. I don't care what athletes make because they get what the market says they're worth. They get paid a lot, but look how much they're making the owners.

College administrators sold out on what made everything great for the money. I can't get over it.
