Any out-of-staters have any luck with AT&T Sportsnetwork? I can download the app but it keeps telling me that "the program (game) is not available in my region".

Hey My Atlanta Brother, I have AT&T everything, and I have never seen the AT&T Sports Network. Honestly for $4.99 a month your best bet is ESPN+ I launch it on my laptop and then HDMI cable it to my TV. It works perfectly.

I downloaded the at&t sports network app. It then asked me to log in with my at&t info. When I did and clicked on the game it said that program was not available in my region.

AT&T Sportsnetwork is the Pittsburgh Pirates/Penguins regional sports network. Changed owners and names a dozen times. Having AT&T cell phone or whatever has nothing to do with getting it. You can download its app, but if you are not in the claimed region of the Pirates, it will not work. The Pirates claim the entire state of WV, even the areas that are closer to Washington or Cincinnati.
It is on most cable systems in most of WV and it is DirecTV 659. If you live outside the Pirates claimed region, you need the DirecTV Sports Pack to get it.

AT&T Sportsnetwork is what used to be the Root sports network. They are available on Directv, Dish and most cable networks but they haven't made it available on any of the streaming networks like Vue or Directv Now yet.
