What a meltdown. So far outscored by 19 points in the 2nd half. Went from up 12 in the first to now losing by 17. This team has serious problems.

O was averaging over 80 ppg going into the last 2 games. Averaged 62.5 for the last two, BOTH losses!

Of course, Danny's style of ball, offensively, looks so much more, and is, effective and productive, against teams without a pulse or who are on some kind of life support! With all new COIVD cases starting to emerge and spread, a lot of future games are going to be altered, changed around, or cancelled, both in college and in the NBA. Teams already scrambling around for makeup, replacement games (see UK and N. Carolina today). If MU ends up with some cancelled home games, hopefully Danny can line up replacement games at a moment's notice with Rio Grande, UPike, WV State, WV Tech, etc. It just may be the ONLY hope this Herd team will have to end up with a .500 or better record this basketball season!!

Save for Kinsey, Dan largely recruits players that no one else wants. This is why We can't consistently beat good teams. I get so sick of hearing about his "system" and how he's getting the guys that fit instead of chasing stars. That's such a load of bull. So highly or even decently recunited players can't fit his system?

I know you said “largely,” but I’d add Obinna to your statement and agree 100%. There’s not been any progress but instead regression since he came but of course Elmore sure helped him out at the start of his coaching career. Then next season there won’t be Kinsey.

Hillbilly ball would be great if you had shooters! I like Early and Obinna. Both have improved unlike the remainder of the team.
