Beat Pitt!

Not gonna happen with or without Litton.

If Litton truly is healthy then we might have a shot. Based on each teams strengths and weaknesses, this is a more favorable match up. However, if Litton is not ready we lose this one 35-42 to 14-17.

Pitt has a dominant and power running back and apparently a much improved passing attack over last year. If we run the same basic KISS offense that we ran most of the game against Louisville and put the onus ENTIRELY on the Defense, then the Panthers, although not nearly as explosive as the Cards, will wear our D down. Get down 3 touchdowns or more, then the D will wilt/quit due to fatigue and frustration and final score probably won't reflect the true differences between the teams.

Unfortunately, our D has serious problems in several areas: pass rush, or lack thereof; no containment at the perimeter of D line, D ends get "sealed" to the inside too often resulting in vulnerable to runs to outside and no pressure on QB from the edge; our D linebackers lack a lot of lateral quickness and can't cover flat passes to outside nor slants and other over the middle passes. Beginning to think that all the "speed"/quickness hype we have been sold by coaches despite all our Florida athletes is just that.

I wouldn't write us off even if Chase doesn't play. Morrel showed nice intra game progression.

Pitt is a toss up. So happy we are playing close in proximity ACC teams that voted NOT to let MIFART in! Lol!
