Not all of us go to sporting events to drink beer. It amazes me the number of people that think they can't go 4 hours without beer. How do they get through the work day?

Most people paying for those seats didn't get to their station in life by making foolish decisions, such as $7-8 for a can of beer.
A friend of mine sells beer at the UC games as a fundraiser for his daughters select soccer team. Last week during the Houston game he sold 1,000 cups a beer, just at his booth alone, were missing out on lots of money by not selling beer
Plans are in place to expand the understand areas on both sides to accomodate beer sales. We just did not have the time to get it done.
I would not be surprised to see beer expanded with walk around vendors in other sections when the team comes back in October. Selling 2-3 football against 4-2 FAU and 1-6 UNCC will test MH's marketing skills.

Why not just have free standing beer kiosks or carts floating around the concourses?
Sam in case you missed it MH said that while plans to sell beer throughout the stadium are in place certain upgrades to existing restroom facilities have to be made. This alone is far more important as those restrooms have not been touched since JCE opened in 1991.

whazup425 beer is only sold in the chairback sections and in the skyboxes at this time. However, be plenty of beer outside the stadium. Stop by any tailgate.
Correct. This is the first year of in-stadium beer sales, so the seat back sections are a trial run of sorts. I don't know how they enforce buying beer unless the vendor checks your ticket, it's just silly. Also, no bourbon sales, so double sorry. Everyone at my tailgate is bringing bourbon incase UL fans need a taste of home, so stop on by.
Beer carts should have been the first move. Put one on each of the four corners, that way the built in concession stands wouldn't be overcrowded. The logistics isn't that hard.
