Burning, looting, property destruction, assault& battery etc, in an effort to legitimize your "movement".

He's pointing out the double standard from you and every other liberal in this country. You prefer only to point out those who were demonstrating, not the others who were there to counter demonstrate and attack. It's perfectly fine for (Antifa or whatever those people are calling themselves) to beat up people, burn things, destroy property, but it's not for some rednecks to have their own march down the street and defend themselves if attacked. Speaking of Antifa, I was listening to NPR last night around six o'clock (I really don't know why I put myself through it) & they interviewed someone who was authorized to speak on their behalf. NPR was actually trying to soften their image - I was in shock.

Antifa has a common theme of destruction for anything and anyone in it's path. The supremacists are inbred rednecks, but they're guaranteed their right to protest just the same as anyone else. Typically, skinheads do their little march, cuss and yell, and mostly get ignored, but they're not known for destroying a bunch of shit.

*I post an uncensored picture of neonazi protestors that depicts them in a negative light.
*My post was motivated by the fact that this was a current and ongoing event that had hit national news.
*My post was also motivated by the fact that after reading one of the neonazi websites that these people aren't right.
*It is perfectly logical for me to comment on a current event without a need to state my position on violence that has happened in the past by members of BLM (or any other violence by anyone). We were within 24 hours of the senseless deaths by people who glorify a cause that we fought a whole freaking war over and resulted in the death of literally millions of innocent people.
*Banker comes on and inaccurately insinuates that since I commented on a current event without mentioning a totally unrelated issue that I was guilty of hypocrisy.
*For the record...any violence by BLM that is unsolicited and results in injury or death to innocent people is deplorable and I strongly condemn it. My condemnation of these idiot neonazis is not tacit approval of BLM violence and Banker's insinuation amounts to a strawman argument.
*The fact that many on here decide not to show outrage toward these acts (for Christ sakes we're talking about Nazi glorifiers), but rather choose to make this some kind of liberal/conservative battle is beyond ridiculous. It's okay man...painting senseless and violent acts as deplorable isn't giving ground on your ideological stronghold. It shouldn't be an ideological issue at all. It's a common decency issue. But every single news agency was covering the Charlottesville violence when I commented. It was current and ongoing. I post a picture of idiots with very little commentary (other than my title shot) and people come out of the woodwork with false insinuations. It's like saying you must be for for sharia law in the US because you never brought the issue up when you condemned BLM violence. The argument is completely contrived and the literal definition of a straw man argument. The insinuation that I somehow support BLM violence because I never mentioned it before is absurd.
I've been accused of being both liberal and conservative on Pullman. Here's the problem in my opinion. The polarization of ideology in society is so extreme that people can only view the world through their own worldview. Everything is now a left/right issue and people have lost their ability to to view events through common sense and decency. When blacks commit senseless violence, it should be condemned. When anti fascist groups get destructive it should be condemned. When ult-right groups do stupid stuff it should be condemned.
I know exactly banker's point. But it's wrong. My shot at the people in the photograph and the ideals they represent is not tacit approval of violence by other groups. That's just the contrived argument of an ideologically invested person who has to create a strawman in order to move this from a decency issue to and ideological one.

How many times have I been called out by EG for denouncing Hillary and not voting for her even when i support the belief in man made global warming? Look at the picture I posted. There's not a single person with a shred of intelligence who can't figure out what they represent. There's not a single person with an ounce of decency who can support their cause. Yet when I call it out people aren't rushing to agree, they're coming here to defend their ideology.

As a christian EG you sound like you hate everything and anybody who didnt vote for Hillary and are not out protesting to overthrow the president. Your hatred consumes you. Republicans seem to want to cater to those well off and the party turns them against those less fortunate than them. They also want to take away their insurance and food stamps. Feed the poor is what my inner self says. Kids cant go to work. Liberals cater to those folks who practice lifestyles the bible preaches soundly against. Liberals spend more time in the news worrying about muslims and mexicans over average americans. God is not happy with either party. Reason enough for me to want nothing to do with them. Liberals are for killing the unborn and are winning that struggle. The cost is around a billion souls by now. Me Im against womens lib. I believe in treating a woman with the upmost respect and this younger generation has been taught to be against one of the greatest institutions in america.to be a homemaker taking care of the family while the man works. Nothing greater than a mother and a wife. I would rather bust my ass 70 hrs a week than the taking care and paying bills. Women are more precious than rubies. My precious wife will never have to hold down a job as long as Im breathing. She of course loves her life and pretty often thanks me for our lives and how our lives turned out. Now thats my family. Single moms dont have that option and other circumstances

What I see is less about "defending an ideology" and more about demanding a balanced perspective as to the ignorance of both groups that choose to "protest" at these types of events. No one has defended either group's racists beliefs...which is their ideology. Do I agree with either group's bigotry? Hell no. But I also recognize either groups right to assemble and protest if granted permission to do so...as long as it doesn't result in other unlawful activities or outcomes.
In this specific Va incident.......law enforcement fvcked up. They essentially stepped aside and allowed this to get out of control.
