Speaking of which...I have a neighbor who does that. I’ve actually seen him using a blower to blow it in the street. I mean...what the hey. Most people blow the clippings off the street back into the yard. It takes three days to decompose.
I went and bought the grass catcher attachment for my John Deere. When the grass is not wet it’s a great time saver. I got tired of laying down rows of grass and having to deal with raking. I’d usually work the rows toward one or two piles then rake it. I was cutting the lawn three or four times each cutting by continually running over the rows to work them in single piles. A mulching blade works fine also, but if rainy weather allows the grass to get a little high, it still leaves a little bit of a mess.
