Former Herd defensive linemen Blake Brooks who played in four games for Marshall in 2012, passed away unexpectedly yesterday. He was the West Virginia state lineman of the year in high school, played a season at Fairmont, then transferred to Marshall as a walk-on. He had been battling depression for a number of months, and his wife was pregnant.
