I just got Saturday and Sunday ground passes at Whistling Straits for the Ryder Cup. I am beyond excited. The Masters and the Ryder Cup rank #1 and #2 on my golf bucket list. The Masters will be elusive without any connections and a lottery system that‘s harder to hit than the Power Ball, but at least I’ll be able to check this one off the list.

Now I need to plan my viewing strategy. Any suggestions? I’m thinking 18 wouldn’t be a good option on a match play format, because many groups or pairings will be completed before it reaches there. Sunday is individual play, so I’m thinking somewhere on the back nine…maybe 15 or 16? Not sure about strategy for Saturday with four ball and foursomes.

I can‘t wait. USA…USA…USA!

maybe get where you can watch two golf holes at the same time? Maybe a green or tee box of another? Maybe a par 4/5 with an adjoining par 3? You could watch the green on the par 4/5 and then watch them tee off on the par 3 and see that green from near the tee box. Of course, it really depends on the course set up and space between the holes.

Here’s the course layout. It looks like a lot of action can be seen between 12-16…
