C-USA OOC record

I was curious if anyone on here knows if we are doing better this year as a whole in our OOC games. So far this season we are 2-15 against P5 teams and 7-9 against other G-5 schools.We still have 9 games ooc to be played but so far we are 4-3 against the MAC, 3-2 against the Sun Belt. The American is pounding us we are 0-4. Our cumulative record is 18-25 at this point.

How can that be? Herd Fever recently argued that the AAC has shown that it can't compete on the field with C-USA (even though the AAC has a better record overall against C-USA). Sammy routinely argues that the AAC is no better on or off the field than C-USA.

Not arguing any side here, just an observation, but some of the better AAC teams have played some of the not so good CUSA teams, an accurate assessment either way can't be made at this point but they do own more victories than CUSA in hard facts to date.

Is that a top half of the AAC vs the bottom half of Conf USA? I've always hated the conference records being touted as strength or weakness indicators. It's like the bowl game conference records where the G5 pits their top-tier schools against the 6-8 ranked teams from the P5. It's apples and pomagranates.
