MURFREESBORO – Conference USA didn’t resolve any of the major issues facing the league during its winter meetings in January.
As the league prepares for its spring meetings that start Monday in Destin, Fla., it’s unlikely C-USA will resolve any of those major issues this week either.
“I doubt we’ll make a lot of news,” MTSU Director of Athletics Chris Massaro said. “We’ve got several things on our agenda that we will discuss but I don’t know that any of them will really be news makers.”
One major issue facing the conference is what to do with Alabama-Birmingham since the university dropped its football program in December of 2014. League bylaws state that all league members must have — or be building to — a Football Bowl Subdivision program...
