at the moment it is the most widely wagered game in las vegas. tv ratings usually follow
the game wagering and with the nation eager to see lamar jackson do his thing the
interest in him and the cardinals is sky high. add to that the only other game at that
time is stanford vs ucla a west coast game not likely to draw a lot of interest in the east.

this is a huge opportunity for marshall, but it is also a huge mountain to have to climb
Louisville is probably the best team in the country by a large margin.

i hope our guys can hang with them long enough to make it interesting and hold this huge tv
audience.

That's going to be tough. Would need the game to be on 1 of the major networks to be the most watched game. It's tough to draw ratings on the obscure network channels. Just don't get as many viewers on the CBSSportsnetwork regardless of who is on there. FS1 has the same issue. TV ratings on that channel are abysmal, even when they get programs like Texas & Oklahoma on there. Those programs obviously draw much better when they are on the ESPN networks.

have you not watched Alabama play? They don't look great offensively but they just kick everybody's ass.

Just because everyone and their mother is betting on Louisville to kick our ass doesn't mean everyone is going to watch the game. Sheezus do you really want people watching that? Come on man

So do we cover the 27.5???? Take off the green glasses when answering. I hope we do but really taking off the glasses don't see it.

I don't think there are enough subscribers that have CSN to make this a highly watched game. Heck I had to do some deep searching to find them on our TV here in Florida.

The only way we cover is 63-45. It's not going to be 41-24
Would you guys expect so much offense from Marshall against Alabama? I ask because Louisville is the only team to be in the top 10 in both offensive and defensive proficiency. The Cards are near the top in sacks and tackles for loss. I'm just surprised that Marshall could be so successful offensively against a Top 10 defense. I can tell you for sure, the Cards are very focused for this game.

Which is in the millions that don't that still have the major networks. Not to mention people won't be turning it on unless it's close in the 2nd half. I bet on games all the time, but I don't watch them if Marshall or WVU is on instead. A lot of people are the same

He's not claimed we will score that many. He's stating that IF we cover, it would have to be a score like that because we're not going to hold them in the 40's.

Chill out, everybody is respecting the Mighty Ville'.
