I'll admit, this time last year I was really feeling good about our football team and boy was I wrong. So I'm still gun-shy about predicting great fortunes for the Herd's football team, but I do see how we can be better than last year. I know, the bar is rather low but hear me out:

QB play: I truly believe Litton will be better than last year and a years maturity helps.
RB: still not great, but everyone is back and in better shape so I see improvement
OL: I haven't been confident in years and don't think there will be improvements.
WR: definite upgrade. McManus was so over hyped and the 6'7" kid had a bad attitude. Adding Brady, Williams and Owens? Improvement across the board
TE: we are in good shape.
DL: awful last year. Still huge question marks
LB: major improvement. Young, Yulee, moody and Johnson will make our DL look presentable.
Corners: Jackson and Allen a year older. I'm fine here.
Safety: Gant and Reavis, very solid.

Great? No.
Improved? No question about it.
2018 we might be conference champs.
