Wouldn’t that be like Wells Fargo overseeing the restructuring plans between the government and SVB?
We are going to beplaying 2nd fiddle for awhile.

I don't know what to think about this.
it may at least stop the war. I could see Russia taking a peace deal to save face if China brokered it though so that they can say it wasn't US driven.

China ends up looking like the dominate player in the region then and the world. It also gives them justification as the world leader to accelerate their plans with Taiwan. They can say hey we are justified taking Taiwan because it is rightfully ours and they are misbehaving. Or, at least ratchet pressure up on Taiwan.
We poked a fight with Russia and we are are in a mess. China is looking to come out as the dominate player in the world. They also have the Saudis and Iranians working together.
We are going to be left on an island with Western Europe and look how they act.
China is going to look to do what is best for China. A Chinese-led peace deal might be better than no peace deal, but is going to be worse for us than a US led one. Which might nudge Russia toward doing it.
I wonder what conditions China is going to want Ukraine to accept, though.

Just curious, if we get into a serious war with China, where will the tungsten come from for our ammo?
If it were serious then we may find ourselves with large quantities of uranium being sent over by China itself, express delivery. Maybe we could make ammo out of that.
