teachers are not paid by the federal govt. They are paid by the county and state govts. I know its been a while since you've been in school but you cant be this dumb.
So you think by getting rid of DOE is not going to effect the number of teachers in school or their pay? Then why are so many of the teachers upset and afraid now? You are so wrong on this Raleigh. I am not dumb if he really does away with the DOE. I am not a dumb person or you would not even respond to me.
The state governments get money from the federal government for schools and now they will be getting less and that is a fact. Why dont DOGE go after the biggest welfare thing in this country subsidies to large companies especially the oil companies? Musk wont even look at that.
The only thing I am worried about is Perkins funding for career and tech ed. We get all kinds of funding from doe for that.

@herdfan429 the title programs, IDEA, and Perkins were all founded before the department of education, they were funded before the DOE and will be funded long after it's gone. In fact, those programs have support from both sides of the aisle and typically are increased no matter what the president that is in power wants.
Yes. Eliminating the DOE wont effect the number of teachers or their pay. The states fund that through property tax initiatives.

Much of DOE funding goes to support disabled children and students from low income backgrounds. The Thicket of Idiot Cult members don't care about those children and would rather give tax cuts to the rich.

Many of today's educators are too focused on the goal of indoctrination vs teaching. In their brainwashed minds, they are teaching and knowing 30 different made up genders is more important than basic fundamentals.
The ideologues behind this ultimately don't care if these kids ever end up contributing to society. They want them reliant on the government for ALL of their needs.
Other countries kids try harder and are just naturally smarter than us especially the Asians and Europeans and in particular the Germans. It is really not how much money that determines how much they learn as their own natural ability to learn. But teachers have to be paid and what DOGE is doing will cause us to have fewer teachers and more students per classroom and more money going to private schools.
I think this is totally incorrect . Many people mistakenly feel this way but I dont think the great majority of teachers do not teach this way. Why would they teach them this way when education keeps people off welfare and other things of this sort.

I am old and I cant physically do what I used to but I did work hard when I was younger. Just because my opinions are different than yours does not make me an embecile. What is racist about my post ? We have been through all this before Raleigh. Not making any money from investments this year. Hope that will change. Republicans never wanted social security and they sure dont want it now. They want to privatize it so they can invest the money which could be a dangerous thing if a recession were to come along then everybody would be hurting.
