Bill Legg was a constant issue during your predecessors time at Marshall. Surely with all your connections at your previous coaching stops you know individuals better qualified that you could get. Just saying that while Legg was in charge of the offense he was a major reason for alienating the fan base and turned many against Doc. Please don’t let this happen to you.

its time for Marshall to move on from past Marshall coaches time to find coaches outside of the Marshall circle if you well. young up and comeing OC from the FBS ranks or a p5 oc THAT IS WILLING TO TAKE A PAYCUT . No more of this Bill LEGG bullshit he didnt do well before and will not do well here again if given the OC job. Huff can find someone outside of the Marshall tree and maybe even surprise us all but time will tell. needs a few coaches and maybe 2 QBS as well. Huff and staff will be busy the next week or so.

Apparently someone failed to read the 33 - 8 record while he was OC before at MU. I'd call that doing pretty well. He has worked with the best in FBS football, probably the most technically qualified coach on our staff. I don't think he'll get the job, but he is very capable, has been successful here before, and apparently is committed to the university. He knew how some felt about his leaving before, and yet he came back. I think that says an awful lot about his self-respect and confidence. I'd ride that a long way; if he gets the job. Actually, I wonder if this wasn't the plan all along, keep Cramsey one year and see what happens. i suspect Cramsey, and I do like him personally, saw a change coming once Wells committed to the portal.

Some schools are talking about making athletes employees of the university. Make them sign a non compete agreement for certain schools(IE you can only transfer down a level or something similiar) or you pay back the tuition that was paid for you. They are going to stop it because it is the wild west.

First, even if you make athletes employees you are never going to see non-compete clause given a) the difficulty of enforcing those clauses and b) the fact that no recruit in their right mind would ever play for a school that had such a clause. Second, no one is going to take a paycut to come here. If they are that good, someone else will hire them and give them a raise.

I don't really know who Bill Legg is, but I don't want anymore of his bullshit either. I'm convinced that he must suck a hell of a lot.

Legg is what, just Don Nehlen's offense? Hand it to Zereoue. Yeah, if Huff hires this it's kind of a disappointment.

Know Legg personally and he is a heck of a nice guy. But I really wish we would go a different route. We have seen Bill legg. Not knocking the man, he has forgotten more about football than I know, but we need fresh air/new ideas on the offensive side of the ball and a full time qb coach.
