So will we play a freshman that has RS all year at QB? The bowl game is going to be a joke.
he should have done this a year earlier.
I wish Cole had been more successful here. I imagine it was a large burden trying follow a father who was a Marshall football legend.
Knew this a few weeks ago honestly. Same dude who told me played with Chad and had his sons scholarship offer pulled by Huff, he’s now at WMU.
Not sure it's ever been a possibility. Thought he's been FCS bound this whole time.
Cole is probably a good person, but he isn't D1 level talent. I would expect him to transfer down to a D2 or D3 program like his younger brother.
Cole really was the QB who got us into a bowl last season, though his best skillset was probably covering other people's fumbles. I know he was a redshirt freshman last year...I think he only played two games this year...wouldn't he have three years to play if he wanted them?
People are not race horses. 99% of great QBs are not the sons of great QBs. It doesn't work that way. For every Ken Griffey Jr, there are 100000 Pete Rose Jrs.

I always wanted to go to Marshall because my dad graduated from Marshall College. Of course, his sole great achievement while he was there was to receive the third BS degree that Marshall granted. The only pressure on me was just to graduate. I can’t imagine the pressure of following in the steps of a star quarterback.

Makes you wonder what is in the Manning DNA. That family is breeding quarterbacks. They could probably get stud fees.
