Yep. “The Thundering Herd of Marshall”. Can’t beat (positive) free pub.It is a lot of free advertising though. That play was the main highlight of the game and it's being replayed a lot all night and this morning.
Not sure what the advertising would be saying: “Play for Marshall for a season then you too can hit the transfer portal for more money and a bigger stage.”It is a lot of free advertising though.
Hey. If we get the services of a great recruit for one year, ship them out and ship the next one in. I feel the same way about coaches too.Not sure what the advertising would be saying: “Play for Marshall for a season then you too can hit the transfer portal for more money and a bigger stage.”
It does make for a box of chocolate program. You never know what you are going to get. But player/coach stability usually leads to a stronger program.Hey. If we get the services of a great recruit for one year, ship them out and ship the next one in. I feel the same way about coaches too.
Oh, great geezer, all seeing & all knowing:It does make for a box of chocolate program. You never know what you are going to get. But player/coach stability usually leads to a stronger program.

You can't control college football today. It is out of control and I'm not sure it can recover.Oh, great geezer, all seeing & all knowing:
Tell us how to control college football!
I certainly agree with you. I frequently gave a small amount to the athletic department and was a Big Green member for years, but since this NIL nonsense, I have stopped any sports donations and only give to the academic segment of the University. After all, isn’t education what it is all supposed to be about? You can't control college football today. It is out of control and I'm not sure it can recover.
I concur. That's what I've done also.I certainly agree with you.
