Currency War Begins: Chinese Yuan Crashes Past 7 To New Record Low; China Stops US Ag Purchases

[QUOTE="WV-FAN, post: 624476, member: 554"it's pretty damned obvious he's a full fledge mentally deranged liberal. how could anybody believe anything he has to say?[/QUOTE]
OK...It's not everyday I get called out as either deranged, a liberal, a liar, a liberal liar (which I suppose, to some, is redundant) - or the coup de gras - a deranged liberal liar. However, I realize that I may have been overly sensitive to your remarks. AND please feel free to shove that safe space up your wazoo.

I feel for anyone that had to deal with that debt on their own. Fortunately, I was able to provide significant assistance to my kids. But we went the cost-efficient route - Jr. College and then a 4 Year School. I was in the throes of a job transfer - so they really weren't sure where they wanted to attend for "in-state" tuition. The local Jr. College is very highly regarded - we were fortunate to have it in nearby. It saved literally tens-of-thousands of dollars.

Like you, I figured out a way to get through it when I attended MU - although tuition was extremely reasonable. Just ridiculously low compared to today. Having compared what my kids were being charged - just a mind-blowing increase.

Witnessed a close friend go through BK due to having no healthcare. They worked - paid taxes - were honorable people but had the bad luck of a catastrophic health event while not being covered. And after BK, life is a whole different deal. They were never the same, and, because they wouldn't, couldn't or didn't receive necessary healthcare, died much too early. However, seems we should be able to address the issue up front and provide minimal preventative healthcare...plus something to assist for those catastrophic events. Like you, I believe there needs to be pretty exhausted research to insure the spend is as smart as possible.
