I'm not opposed to voter ID generally, and will be even less opposed as the older folks that had weird issues with birth certificates and such pass away. Like I've posted before, if my grandmother was still alive she would have issues with Real ID requirements, there is no official record of her birth due to a courthouse fire.

I'd wager an illegal alien could get an ID easier than a 100 year old American citizen with authentication issues. I mean, there's a pretty good black market for ID's, Social Security cards, etc. for illegals.

As I said, soon my concern will not be an issue. But there's still some folks like that out there, and until they can not be affected by such laws I cannot fully support it.
