I wonder why McConnell won't bring the bill, passed by the House on 6 January, that funds the federal agencies currently closed, to the floor of the Senate for a vote? They did a roll call and had all 45 dems, 2 independents and 4 Republicans express an intention of supporting the bill. It's not veto proof but it would pass with a simple majority.
