The photographer (ajamesmccarthy on Reddit) took nearly 50,000 images of the night sky to make an 81 Megapixel image of last Tuesday's moon. Here is the link of google drive https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mkK8NIs3pPyAnxwMPNQZLgg0QTC4LmTc/view

where in the hell's the flag? see, i knew it was all a hoax, we really didn't land on the moon.

on a cereal note, doe. zoom in on the pic. towards bottom right of moon looks like it was struck by an asteroid, or whatever, and it spider webbed. there's a couple smaller ones toward bottom on left side, also. talk about a big bang.

Awesome. A year or so ago I bought a Nikon P900 to shoot some sporting events when I didn't feel like carrying my Canon around. Just standing in my back yard, in town, with no additional lenses, I can take pictures of the moon that are ridiculous.

The crater Tycho. Fun fact: it's around 50 miles across and 15k ft deep. Big bang, indeed. The "rays" are seen because it is relatively young.

Those have an incredible zoom.
For a commercially available camera around $500 that's basically a point & shoot, it's pretty sick. Youtube has a ton of videos of people using this camera to zoom in just about anything - chicks on beaches being popular. While the moon shots are impressive, I'm amazed that people are able to zoom in read the numbers on airplanes in flight.
