actually, if you read exactly what trump tweeted and compare that to the snopes fact check, something he didn't actually tweet is being fact checked. in typical leftist fashion, words are added and context changed to prove what wasn't actually said a lie. what trump tweeted was actually 100% truth as there were two instances at the dnc where Dems removed the word God from the pledge.

In the morning assembly where I teach school the pledge has been done every morning for years. “Under God” has always been part of the pledge. This has pretty much been common practice everywhere the pledge is said for as long as I remember. Only the gullible and political opportunist are choosing to buy into this false narrative that democrats took it away. And fact checking the legitimacy of this claim is in no way being triggered. Saying so is the act of someone who has nothing to build their case on.
