* Doc talked about the QB situation & how he continues to be impressed by Thomson's work ethic. He said Green & Morrell had great summers.
* Doc said he's looking for a young corner to step up and move into the nickel position.
* He said the kickers spent July travelling on their own to kicking camps. Rohrwasser worked out with Vedvik some.
* Doc mentioned that OL Alex Locklear had a great summer.
* He also confirmed what I'd heard off the record about walkons going on scholarship. LB Tyler Brown, S Nazeeh Johnson, OL Cain Madden and K Robert Lefevre are on scholarship. DL Joey Maddox will be if there's room under the limit of 85.

He said he's got a full 85 scholarships and can have 110 players (up from 105) in fall practice so he's excited to have a full 3 teams of depth.
