Does anyone really believe that we will Lose To MTSU?

agreed - I'm not worried. I actually think we will go up big early with the hurry up passing attack that we saw a glimpse of last week.

I do. Many forget that we were ready to hang Legg before Cato's senior year. Cato graduated, and now we have to rely on Legg's playcalling once again. With Legg, the opponent always has a chance. No trying to be Debbie-Downer or a cynic, I've just seen this movie before.

ThStr@theJ: We win going away. Unlike Charlotte, we break their will to win. Doc takes his foot off the gas, but this will be fun to watch !
Go Herd!

If they find a way to be successful in the passing game, I don't think our O can outscore anyone. We can't win a track meet. jmo.
That said, they seem to be banged up just like we are.

Do we win? Yes most likely. Do we blow them out? No. We are splitting carries with like 30 different running backs, we will probably have yet another different starting 5 at OL and we have a freshman QB. You never know with a freshman QB.

The Ohio loss and OT win at Kent St. still haunt me........I'm always concerned on the road against a decent opponent.

Ohio was due to QB play. We can go back and forth on why Birdsong couldn't do it but injury or skillset we lost because the production wasn't there from that position.

Kent State blows on offense but they have a top30 defense and at that time they were top10. MTSU jas the 72nd ranked defense and if you take out the Jackson St and Charlotte game they are averaging 16.7 ppg.

I just don't think they're all that good. I think we win this game 28-32 to 17.

This has been the most worried I've been going into a game since we played Southern Miss earlier this year.. We'll see what happens but I think the Herd have to win this one in a dog fight.

I think MU will lose, but take heart: all Marshall has to do is split the next two games to make the game in Bowling Green for the division championship.

I think we take a medieval clobbering in that game tho.

I have no idea where this overconfidence comes from. Should we win? On paper I think so. Is it a lock? Nothing in conference as an away team ever is. The defense is solid, but the offense is still suspect.

When we need to score, we score. When we need a stop, we get it. This team has gotten better and better each week. They'll be ready.

We better be concerned about every team we play. Good thing you're not the coach thunderstruck!

I'm torn on what to predict. Part of my brain says never look past a conference opponent on their own turf. The other part of my brain looks at their wins and say 'it's a lock". It's getting the two parts to find common ground that's a problem.

Sooooo, it's a lock.

not being cocky I just think we will win, plain and simple. Our offense is starting to work in spite of injuries. Chase getting more mature every week. We win by 10

I think we win in a close one but a loss does noting to hurt our chances of winning the east. The winner of the MU/WKU game wins it.

Exactly it has nothing to do with being cocky. There is just no indicator to me that says they are the better team. Not one. So I think we win this pretty safely.

There was no real reason we should've lost at Murfreesboro 2 years ago, but I was there and witnessed the debacle. You never know, on any given day.

That loss cost us home field and possibly the title that year. Deflated after Rice was announced the home team.

That's the point. None of us think they are the better team but playing down there, they are placing a huge emphasis on this game and our offensive injuries, etc, we could have a hiccup. jmo.

I'm anxious about this one. We've played extremely well in the first have the past 2 games and then come out flat in the second half. If we do that tomorrow we may be in trouble.

I remember back during the Pruett years we would be sleeping through the first half and then come out guns blazing in the second. It doesn't feel like we play with the same sense of urgency in the second half of games this year.

Team is flat today.... I would have been madder than hell if I was the under dog and defending conference champion going in there.... Nothing will shock me with this team. Hope we win

Defense is getting exposed today. Receivers remembered they can't catch and the o-line is on 5 different snap counts.

But, at the same time the defense is the only thing keeping us in it.. If they don't force those 2 fumbles and get that INT (MT's play call helped there too) this game could easily be 24-7 MTSU.. I trust Heater will make adjustments at half time he usually does.. I just worry about if our offense can actually get something going

Tired and undisciplined? I can accept that. Sad that ten games into the season and we keep penalizing ourselves. Mirabel has a lot of work to do with the O line. Killing us.
