I didn't hear about it until this thread, but I just looked at it and think it is ingenious.

All of his investors were already aware that Tesla could be in shit. If the founder, a guy who has ego and determination to match his wallet, can joke about it, I would be a lot more relaxed as an investor.

99% of the time i'm in awe of the guy and i genuinely want to see his projects succeed. but if i had serious money invested in Tesla i'm not so sure him joking about bankruptcy would make me feel better about today's report. the projections are pretty dire.

Musk can save Tesla quickly if he would let himself partner with a major auto manufacturer. That would solve a lot of the issues they currently face. Shit, Mercedes and Porsche partnered to make a car (Mercedes 500 E). Economies of scale in the supply chain, or the lack thereof, is a big issue for Tesla.

Keep sucking the bullshit. Our economy is much worse off than they'll have you believe!.

The one thing you rarely hear during the stock shows/networks is "it's time to sell". It's always, "this is a 'correction'....or "it will bottom out today".....or "you need to invest for the long haul - the market has ups and downs"...or the "the market's financial basics are sound". Whatever....I'm convinced they want all of us to stay in to the last penny.

Of course, it probably wouldn't be so bad if our 70-year-old, spray-tanned, ego-maniacal, pathological lying douchebag of a President could keep his mini-me hands off the damned cell phone. We would all be better off if every infantile brain fart that entered his bleach blonde head wasn't sent into the world-wide-web.

You should come around more often.

I agree. So we can all have a good chuckle.
