I went down the rabbit hole on this last night. I swear, every single video I have seen posted of this shit looks like regular airplanes. Except for the video claimed to be recent that was obviously a B-2 bomber and was filmed a couple years ago, those are definitely not normal airplanes; some moron posted it without sound, then someone else posted the original with sound and it sounded exactly like a low flying B-2 sounds (loud as hell).

I think the explanation is simple: most people do not look at the sky, some morons have started a panic, and now other morons are finally looking up instead of at their screens and seeing planes at night in a region with extremely busy skies. And probably some actual drones mixed in as well, hell our sheriff was flying one here in town last night looking for a robber.

They are out military drones. They are most likely doing a test run and also testing awareness. Unless drones are launched from a ship in Atlantic no other country could get a drone over American shores other than Canada and Mexico. You looking at a 300-400 mile range for these drones.

I am a geek. Some of my interests are weather, astronomy, and planes (I don't miss hearing them now that I am out here, but I do miss seeing them, especially the 747's). I am ALWAYS looking at the sky.

Something that has become obvious to me is unless someone is a geek for something in the sky NO ONE LOOKS AT THE SKY these days, ESPECIALLY city people. Everyone is buried in their screens. The amount of shit people don't see is amazing.

I've heard and read people say they were driving and didn't see a tornado until it was on top of them. What? How did you miss that? Stop looking at social media while you are driving lol.

Did you see the full moon lined up with Jupiter, and Aldebaran (that's a really bright red giant in Taurus) about an hour ago? No? You don't look at the sky. Too bad, it was stunning.

I have had people standing with me outside see those planes lined up for SDF and ask "What is that, I've never seen that! UFO's?" Dude, they are there every night.

For thousands of years, the sky was the best show going. Not anymore.

Mayors and sherrifs saying sure some reports are bogus but they went through flight logs and taking into account altitude and wind speeds they are confident :

1. Many anre credible reports and those that are are not planes.
2. They aren’t hobbyists drones.

I don’t know whose flight logs. They just said something (im paraphrasing here) like around this airport or that entering flights are at X feet and they have confirmed reports of aircraft below that and operating (especially in high winds) at an altitude not consistent with a manned plane on any flight path /log or a hobby level drone.

If they are foreign (Chinese, Iran etc) they are definitely being operated inside the United StTes. Drones like these only have 8-9 hour run time and operate at speeds around 100-120 mph. So you are looking at max distance of 200 miles or so to give you time to get to your destination fly around and then make it back to operation area

The drones are running lights. Which means they want to be seen, or alert other aircraft. Some of the sighting are not drones, they are commercial planes or aircraft. If they are hovering in a spot it means they are looking at something or looking for something. Or gathering data such as lidar or photogrammetry data. So, what it is odd if were just for inspection or mapping services of some sort, govt or private sector(like the DOT or port authorities, county, etc) then it would be easy to come clean and announce what it is. hey were mapping the river channels. Inspecting the bridges,, mapping for GIS. But, why the mystery?

Some of the sightings are noting at and are people confused. There is obviously something and they won't come clean about it. I have my theory above but, am leaning against my theory.

If they were mapping GIS or photo telemetry they would be running in the day time, you would think. Easier to take photos. The fact they are running at night seems odd. And no I'm not buying the Iran theory.

I will say...... The scenario above is not out of the question. There was a dirty bomb scare in So Cal in 2003 and Dept of Energy trucks were all over looking for radiation. In fact, I saw one and no one pieced it together for years later.
